Artist: Josh Rouse
Album: "Country Mouse, City House"
Label: Nettwerk
Release Date: July 31, 2007
Josh Rouse chose to name his album "Country Mouse, City House" during a 70-mile walk through the north of Spain. He thought it would be entertaining to take inspiration from Aesop's tale "Country Mouse, City Mouse," especially given that he has been teased that he resembles a mouse in pictures.
With a voice like spring water that erodes even the most jagged of worries, Rouse may feel that his sound is based in the 70's, but it is pure modern bliss. Perfect for a warm summer night, a hammock and snuggling with a loved one.
