Romantic electro may sounds like a contradiction in terms, but "Love Song Surprise" keeps a downtempo groove with vocals that will seduce a lover faster than caviar and oysters.
For almost 10 years Dennis White (aka Static Revenger) has created chart topping tracks for such luminaries as Madonna and Weekend Players. He has also spun alongside Fatboy Slim, The Basement Jaxx and The Crystal Method, and his recent album was co-produced by Ramin Sakurai from Supreme Beings of Leisure.
This shows his softer, more poignant side. Songs like "Sweetest Day" and "I Feel Love" reveal sultry lyrics in a breathy and whispered delivery. Other tracks pick up the tempo but never loose their groove, creating an album that effortlessly ebbs and flows, while its melodic rhythms buoy the listener.
